The Ethiopian National Data & Digital Health Week 2026 has officially wrapped up, and the energy, ideas, and ambition in the room made it one to remember.
Over five packed days, participants dove deep into the future of healthcare: from advanced data modeling frameworks to cutting-edge digital health solutions reshaping how care is delivered and decisions are made across Ethiopia.
The crown jewel of the week? The AI Data Analytics Hackathon Competition 🏆
Teams came prepared, and they delivered. The competition showcased some of the most creative and impactful AI-driven solutions we’ve seen for healthcare challenges, with the top three teams earning well-deserved recognition for their exceptional work. Watching the next generation of digital health innovators in action was genuinely inspiring.
But beyond the competition, this week sent a clear signal: Ethiopia is committed to building a future where data drives decisions, digital tools expand access, and innovation is homegrown.
